I  never knew how expensive it was to go to college, my brother and I are trying really hard to help our parents with our school expenses, we even have part-time jobs during our vacant hours.  However, we were still thinking of other ways to save on money, like we use bikes instead of taking the bus or our car, but the textbooks that we use at the university are really expensive and most of the money we earn at our part-time jobs goes there.

A close family friend of ours, who is studying at the same university as my brother and me, suggested that we try to rent textbooks, they are cheaper than buying new textbooks at the university bookstore, we don’t have to worry about the condition of the textbooks since all of textbooks at any textbook rental are only slightly used.  My brother and I decided to check out the various stores offering textbook rental,  and we were so surprised at how cheap  the textbooks were and the great condition they were in.  They are less than half the price of new textbooks, and we can even purchase the textbooks if we want to.  My brother and I  were so happy with the money we saved from renting  textbooks, and the extra money we had, we spent on other stuff.
